Scholarships
Each year the funds earned from our scholarship fundraising quilts and other guild sales are used to help members attend seminar. In 2008 the membership voted to use 2/3 of the fundraising money available each year for scholarships, with any excess money carried over to future years for scholarships. Scholarships are $250 and can be used for any seminar expenses.
Any guild member may apply for a scholarship, and may receive a scholarship only once. Names are drawn in mid December for the scholarships to be used for the following seminar. The Past President is the chairman of the Scholarship Committee. Contact her in the fall to be placed in the drawing, or to submit the name of a friend for a scholarship. Deadline for submission of names is December 1st of each year. 13 members will receive a scholarship for seminar 2012.
Fundraising Quilt
